My Gameweek 5 Squad Reveal
Has the new EPL season caught me by surprise? Not exactly. Some team results haven’t been what I expected, but for the most part, the players have performed as I had imagined.
Many rookies have the skill and the grit to prove themselves. Star players often feel a little fatigued at this point in the season. And, yes, most of the top clubs, as predicted, are struggling to adjust to new management and fresh squads.
With renewed confidence, I approach GW5 with a 5-4-1 formation. Here’s a look at the team that I use:

| MID 3 | Martin Odegaard | Arsenal | 4★ | Extraordinary talent who, finally, has returned to full fitness and is playing for Britain’s top club. Arsenal’s picking up victories easily at the moment, and the Norwegian is back at the centre of the action |

My 3 Must-Have “Sleeper Picks” for GW5
- Jaidon Anthony (Potential Goal Machine) – It only makes sense that Anthony would end up playing for Brentford. And, frankly, it would only make sense that he’s going to get a lot of goal-scoring opportunities against Chelsea’s sluggish defence
- Konstantinos Tzolakis (Underrated Goalie) – Hull United’s surprising everyone, including its own supporters. Tzolakis arrived after a few formative years in the Greek league. The goalie has stepped up to the challenge and delivered stronger performances could be on the cards for the foreseeable future
- Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (Masterful Attacking Midfielder) – I’m a big fan of Dewsbury-Hall. In fact, I think that he’s one of the most underrated players in the Premier League. He’s a skilful, powerful midfielder with a great work ethic. The Toffees’ player is worth keeping on your radar ahead of Gameweek 5
