It’s exhaustion that usually gets them! Plenty of teams impress in the early part of the season. But just how many have the strength to finish in the same fashion?
This is something that doesn’t just trouble managers looking to keep their jobs, but also fantasy football tacticians looking to win prizes in FootballCoin.

These Are the Players You Need for Premier League Fantasy Football for Round 23!
Let’s start with a few proven winners! Let’s leave potential surprises do just that for us – shock us if they do occur!
Manchester City should put on a show against Wolves! Why do I think that? Because they haven’t been able to put on a show anywhere else, and Wolves are still glued to the bottom of the table.
That means that the usual suspects remain good picks if you can afford them. Haaland, Semenyo, Foden and Doku are fine picks. If you’re looking for budget ones, O’Reilly, Gonzalez and Khusanov may come in useful. But you’ll just have to take the risk of Pep Guardiola changing his mind about selection at the last minute.
Meanwhile, it’s not been fun watching Liverpool lately. Still, victory and a good display against Bournemouth is, no doubt, I think on the cards.
Clean sheet? That’s a possibility, and means that Alisson, along with Frimpong, Konate, and Van Dijk, are good picks. Gravenberch and Szoboszlai should also come in handy.
Finally, Tottenham has shown enough spark midweek to suggest Thomas Frank‘s team can continue in the same vein against Burnley. Romero and Van de Ven are always worth taking a risk on. Meanwhile, Odobert, Gallagher and Bissouma look like the midfield partnership that Spurs have been missing for a while.
Derby Days & Big Risks
The good news is that there’s no telling what the two Round 23 derbies are going to have in store. The bad news is that it’ll be hard to pick just the right players to lift your team.
Manchester United looked inspired against rivals City. However, Arsenal seems less likely to fall for these kinds of tricks. However, players like Fernandes, Dalot, Rice or Gabriel tend to come alive in these big affairs.
And, there’s no reason why Newcastle won’t rise to the occasion against the neutrals’ favourites, Aston Villa. Trippier, Hall, Malick, as well as Rogers, Buendia, and Tielemans are players worth keeping on your radar.
Here Are The Players You Need to Avoid in Round 23!
I think Liverpool should win against Bournemouth. Having said that, not convinced yet by the ability of Kerkez, Jones and Wirtz to earn enough points. Salah is a risky pick as well here.
This also means that while I like Jimenez and Evanilson, it’ll be a special day if they manage to score past Alisson.
It’s reported that Nuno no longer talks to his West Ham players. If that’s true, it would certainly explain why players like Bowen, Soucek, and the team’s lesser-known attackers have been sulking recently.
Meanwhile, Sadiki, Xhaka, and Le Fee have been excellent for Sunderland in the opening part of the season, but look to be running out of steam.
And, while Spurs can win against Burnley, I’m still not sold on Simons, or wing-backs Porro and Udogie, both of whom have had disappointing seasons so far.
