These Are the Players You Need for Premier League Fantasy Football for Round 16!
I’ve seen Chelsea play brilliantly, and I’ve seen the team embarrass itself. And, usually, this season, it’s happened within days of each other. I think Reece James is worth picking. And Wesley Fofana could come back stronger after the embarrassment against Atalanta.
However, this Everton side can take a victory at Stamford Bridge. Dewsbury-Hall is, as I promised, in red-hot form. Garner, Grealish, and Tarkovoski are fine fantasy football picks.
We’ve all seen what Liverpool can do! Not a lot, at the moment, as it turns out. That’s why I like Brighton’s Rutter, Welbeck, and Dunk for this one. Meanwhile, Szoboszlai always seems to perform, or at least gets a free shot at a penalty when things are going wrong. Alisson might also get a good fantasy football score out of this one.
I think that Fulham’s Tete, Berge, and Chuckqueze could be good budget picks as the team faces Burnley away.
And, speaking of teams in terrible form, Wolves will try to pull off a miracle against Arsenal. That’d be, frankly, a nice sight to behold. But, more realistically, you’ll want Timber, White, and Raya for the Gunners’ clean sheet, and Merino, Saka, and Eze because of the goals they’re going to score.
Manchester City is back to its efficient best. There are questions over Pep Guardiola’s selection. However, if you can afford it, Dias, Gvardiol, and Haaland should be available and performing well.
Forest taking on Spurs sounds like an even affair. Feels like Sels could be a smart pick, alongside Tottenham’s Romero and van de Ven.
Sunderland will feel the absence of its African players, making Newcastle’s Woltemade, Gordon, and Tonali primed to take advantage.
Aston Villa is in stunning form. Kamara, McGinn, and Tielemans ought to be in your fantasy selection. Watkins and Rogers are options worth considering as well.
Brentford is sinking, but Leeds is on an upward trajectory with the likes of Rodon and Stach performing well. Both are good budget picks.
And, while neither Bournemouth nor Manchester United have been too impressive lately, Fernandes, Shaw, Truffert, and Semenyo are still players worth looking at if you need someone to shape up your squad.
The Players You Need to Avoid in Round 16!
This is Schrodinger’s Liverpool Salah. Is he still with the team? Is he out of it? Yes, he’s left for AFCON, but if you have his card, this might be a good time to consider trading it.
United will lose Mbuemo, Diallo, and Mazraoui. And Bournemouth will be without Adli. The rest of the AFCON players will likely play in Round 16, before departing for the tournament.
Other notable absences include United’s de Ligt, Everton’s Gueye, Chelsea’s Caicedo, Burnley’s Walker, Brentford’s Outtara, Bournemouth’s Adams, Forest’s Murillo or Arsenal’s Calafiori.
