Who’s left? Enzo Maresca is gone. Ruben Amorim is gone. But you’re still here, looking to improve and desperately seeking a cheat sheet to help you do it. I might have just what you need.

Clearly, Amorim wouldn’t make much of a fantasy Football Premier League manager, but you still can! Here are the players you need to improve your side and the ones that you should avoid.

These Are the Players You Need for Premier League Fantasy Football for Round 21!

West Ham vs. Nottingham Forest has a whiff of desperation about it. That should be enough to make it enjoyable. But, are there good fantasy football picks here? Yes, Igor Jesus.

However, looking toward sure things, Manchester City and Arsenal are the only two teams still standing strong after the busy December schedule.

City take on Brighton at home. Gvardiol and Dias are must-haves if you can afford them. Haaland is never a bad option in attack. Rodri and Foden are moving back into form, but neither has a confirmed starting role here.

Meanwhile, a very sturdy Arsenal takes on the slightly unstable Liverpool. Gabriel, Rice, Saliba, and Timber have been excellent throughout the season.

On the one hand, yes, we are being robbed of seeing Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United taking on the fearsome Burnley, who have not won since October. On the other hand, United’s interim managers tend to pick up victories, play a more conservative starting eleven, and are often relieved of their duties quickly.

What can we learn from this? Lammens can keep a clean sheet here. Cunha can continue scoring. Casemiro is an OK choice. And, there’s no telling who will be part of United’s central defensive partnership, with Dalot and Shaw most likely starring on the flanks.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa has thoroughly proved it’s not a title challenger. Unai Emery’s team is, however, a UCL challenger certainly. The front four of McGinn, Buendia, Watkins, and, especially, Rogers deserve to be on your list of potential starting players.

Any surprise picks that you should consider? Sunderland’s Robin Roefs has been impressive this entire campaign. Newcastle’s Hall and Thiaw could produce moments of magic against Leeds, whose striker Calvert-Llewin will want to restart his goal-scoring run. Finally, Wolves’ Hee-Chan looks, finally, like a player who desperately wants to avoid associating his name with an embarrassing relegation.

The Players You Need to Avoid in Round 21!

Benjamin Sesko ought to be asked to pay some of Ruben Amorim’s early sack clause. It’s amazing that the Portuguese wanted him in his starting eleven, and it’d be shocking if you thought the same about your selection.

Gigi Donnarumma can pull off impossible saves. But, then again, he also makes mistakes and is rarely asked to play with his feet like Ederson did. There are better choices out there. Meanwhile, City’s Doku, Reijnders, or Silva are fantastic. But unless you have Pep Guardiola’s phone number, you can’t be sure that they’re playing.

Sure, Liverpool can pull a surprise against Arsenal. However, it’s hard to know if the likes of Kerkez, Jones, or Bradley won’t get steamrolled by the Arteta Machine. And, frankly, it’s hard to tell if Arne Slot, at this rate of managerial sackings, will be here for Round 22 if things go terribly wrong.
