Fantasy Football Premier League has already given devoted fans a few things to consider. Have the stars already shown up? And, will the big-name transfer work?

Ahead of Week 2 of the EPL, I’m looking at the players that should improve your fantasy football team, and the ones you ought to avoid like poison.

Besides, if you need a refresher, have a look at everything you need to know for this EPL fantasy football campaign.

These Are the Players You Need for Fantasy Football in the English Premier League for Round 2

Mohamed Salah remembered his goal-scoring record on the opening days of the Premier League just in time last weekend. There are a few players who really manage to show up in big games, and the Egyptian is one of them. Picking Salah looks like a safe choice as Liverpool meet bitter rivals Newcastle, who are busy trying to lock up Alexander Isak from rich suitors.

Arsenal looks good against Leeds. Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice and Gabriel Magalhaes should all be locked into your teams. Victor Gyokeres should even get another chance. He might not need to dribble this time.

Brentford are looking a little lost without Thomas Frank for the moment. That means that Ollie Watkins, the best striker not playing for one of the ultra-rich clubs, could get a few goal shots in.

What about defence? Many were impressed with Robin Roefs in Week 1, but Burnley shouldn’t create as many scoring chances. Instead, I recommend Gugliemo Vicario, who, even without a clean sheet to his name, should rack up the points.

Rayan Ait-Nouri fantasy football premier league

I’ll leave you with a few wing-backs who could create havoc for opposition defenders. These are always the players who tip the scales when it comes to fantasy football scoring. Consider picking Rayan Ait-Nouri and/or Reece James, whatever it takes.

Finally, don’t forget that most of these players are free in FootballCoin or can easily and affordably be leased.

The Players You Need to Avoid in Round 2

I’m not convinced about Richarlison despite a great opening day performance. Facing Dias and Stones will surely be a better test.

I wish Luke Shaw only the best, but I wouldn’t wish him in my team. United may well win against Fulham, but Casemiro and Benjamin Sesko need, for entirely different reasons, to prove themselves to us before we can pick them.

Wouldn’t put my faith in Jordan Pickford or any of the Wolves attackers at the moment. I have a few things to say about West Ham, Brentford, and Aston Villa, but I doubt you plan on making choices from those teams anyway.
