I like it when a prediction comes true. Djordje Mihailovic is another player I hyped in pre-season. Frankly, it’s taken a while for that to come true.
But once Mihailovic‘s strong performances started, they haven’t stopped. He’s scored four goals over the past three matches. It’s only the aforementioned Sebastian Frei that stands in his way of scoring on Matchday 10. Good pick for your squad!
Cristian Arango (San Jose Earthquakes)
We always thought that San Jose Earthquakes would be one of the important teams of the Western Conference. Don’t you dare say otherwise?
That’s why the fact that the team languishes in 10th place and has lost four of the last six games is a surprise.
Still, the squad’s a good one. Cristian Arango is one of the most important players. He’s also one of the few, along with Cristian Espinoza and Rodrigues, who have not disappointed.
Arango was spectacular in the last game, scoring twice in a 3-5 defeat to Kansas City. Clearly, the South American is trying to pull the team by the scruff of the neck back onto track.

Denis Bouanga (Los Angeles FC)
Denis Bouanga is one of the best strikers across all leagues in the Americas. But that’s one of the only good things that I can say about Los Angeles FC at the moment.
Despite its status and investments, the LA is in seventh place and has struggled to string together consecutive victories.
Still, Bouanga and Olivier Giroud finally seem, finally, to have learned to work together. The team can put a few past St. Louis City, and Bouanga can play a starring role.
