Yes, in a manner of speaking, Premier League players are forced to work on the holidays for our enjoyment. And yes, that means that the fantasy Football Premier League contests can keep going regardless of Santa, Christmas trees, and gift-giving.

What players do you need in your squad on Boxing Day, and who should you avoid?

Luckily, the EPL players are getting paid, and so can you with yourEPL fantasy football teamin FootballCoin for free.

These Are the Players You Need for Premier League Fantasy Football for Round 17!

Around December, to my mind, the smartest thing that you can do for your fantasy football team is to make sure that all of your players are likely to start and play 90 minutes. That wins you contests! But that’s also more difficult than it seems. Injuries, suspensions, and managers resting important players are all things that come into play.

Where does that leave us?

A Bruno Fernandes-less Manchester United is a complete uncertainty. On the other hand, Newcastle is a better side than the results would suggest. Nick Woltemade is a fine striker. Anthony Gordon and Jacob Murphy are both in fine form. Meanwhile, other than Diego Dalot, there’s not a single consistent United performer at the moment.

Forest can finally stop Manchester City’s winning run, in my opinion. Still, it’s never a bad time to pick Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Jasko Gvardiol, and Ruben Dias right now. Meanwhile, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Nico Williams, Ibrahim Sangare, and Nikola Milenkovic are good, if not exceptional, picks.

I recommend you go back to choosing Liverpool players for Boxing Day. It’s not that this version of the Reds is very good. However, Hugo Ekitike should do great against a Wolves side suffering from confidence issues. Florian Wirtz and Dominic Szoboszlai don’t look like bad picks for this round. Virgil Van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, and Alisson Becker could earn points in FootballCoin if Slot’s team maintains a clean sheet.

Arsenal’s finally turned into the kind of team that can win while playing ugly football. That creates EPL winners! Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, and William Saliba are must-haves. Mikel Merino and Viktor Gyokeres deserve some of your attention, too.

Chelsea vs. Aston Villa is the post-Boxing Day derby. Morgan Rogers is in undeniably good form. Chelsea might stop Villa’s run. Still, Amadou Onana, John McGinn, and Youri Tielemans should do well.  Other than Reece James and Mar  Cucurella, Chelsea, like Man. Utd., is too unpredictable, in my view.

The Players You Need to Avoid in Round 17!

Would avoid United’s players at the moment. It’s not that they lack talent. It’s simply hard to predict whether the likes of Leny Yoro, Senne Lammens, or Ayden Heaven, although he did surprise me against Villa, will have a strong game against strong forwards like Woltemade.

I’d avoid some of Chelsea’s luxury players for this one. Cole Palmer, Alejandro Garnacho, and Pedro Neto wouldn’t make the cut if I were in charge.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin deserves a place on the plane to the World Cup, but wouldn’t make my squad this weekend.

And, I’ve little confidence in these Tottenham players, especially after last week’s game, they managed more red cards than goals. I’d start my Must Avoid List with Kolo Muani written in big red letters. I like Micky van de Ven, Mohammed Kudus, and Lucas Bergvall in theory, but not enough to pick them.

Some of the important players who will likely miss the Boxing Day fixtures include Gabriel, Ben White, Pau Torres, Tyler Adams, Hannibal Mejbri, Estevao, Liam Delap, KieranDewsbury-Hall, Daniel James, Alexander Isak, John Stones, Bruno Fernandes, and Nick Pope.

Besides those, the players who are suspended for Boxing Day are Yerson Mosquera, Xavi Simons, Cristian Romero, Luke O’Nien, Casemiro, Mateo Kovacic, Dominik Szoboszlai, Diego Gomez, Lewis Dunk,
