Fresh Champions League champions Liverpool, welcome Norwich City in the opening of the season. The newly-promoted side will undergo a baptism by fire, most likely, with the Reds anxious to hit the ground running.

Elsewhere, Premier League champions Manchester City travel to West Ham, a team that looks to have gained much-needed stability in recent months.

Sheffield United are finally back in the top tier of English football. They may get the chance to impress in the first match as they take on Bournemouth, a team that struggled to avoid relegation last campaign.

It’s not quite as easy a task for Aston Villa who they travel to London to meet Spurs, a team that will certainly be holding a chip on their shoulder following the collapse of their last season.

Manchester United – Chelsea, the first derby of the 2019/20 EPL season

It will be interesting to see how Manchester United lines up for the clash against Chelsea. The Red Devils are planning a considerable restructuring of their squad for the new season. Are we going to see a brand new Man. United?

On the other hand, Chelsea may be feeling the pressure of a transfer ban and the loss of their top player, Eden Hazard. Maurizio Sarri, should he maintain his position as manager, will certainly have his work cut out for him
