Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain): “One of the all-time greats!” That’s what people are going to say to describe the Moroccan footballer once he has retired. The wing-back has been sensational across the season.

Hakimi has also been PSG’s leader and greatest asset across the Club World Cup. Will he go silent in the final? He doesn’t make a habit of doing that!

Joao Pedro (Chelsea): No, it doesn’t quite look like Chelsea’s spending spree is about to end anytime soon. In fact, the days of having 50 players in the main squad fighting for places in the changing area may soon return.

Despite this, getting João Pedro on board may just be the kind of luxury problem that Enzo Maresca will enjoy. The former Fluminense player made his debut in the semi-finals against his former side, scored, and looks in form and motivated to do the same in the final. Good pick for your team, surely!

Ousmane Dembele (Paris Saint-Germain): Ousmane Dembele had the best season of his entire career. There are some who give all the credit to Luis Enrique.

That’s only fair, however. Enrique has managed to unlock the incredible talent that teams like Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund always believed that the Frenchman possessed.

Yes, Dembele must be pretty tired. But there’s still one game to go. Scoring here would make this a perfect campaign individually as well as for the club that’s taken such a gamble on signing him! Expect Dembele to perform!

Cole Palmer (Chelsea): It’s debatable whether winning the Club World Cup would be a bigger achievement than clinching the Conference League. Either way, Palmer would gladly bag up both awards. This is a possible generation talent, after all, with not much to show for his talents just yet.

While some of his form has been in decline in the past 12 months, expect Palmer to bring his very best to this occasion. We say: “Pick him for your fantasy soccer draft!”
