Fantasy Football Picks
Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain) – It’s rather amazing just the kind of teams that PSG has played over the past months, as is the fact that they’ve beaten them all while barely conceding. But it’s just as amazing the way that Achraf Hakimi has been maintaining his incredible individual standard throughout this.
At the Club World Cup, the Moroccan has either scored or assisted in nearly every game. And if you’re not going to pick him for your fantasy football draft, you’d better have an excellent reason!
Federico Valverde (Real Madrid) – While Real Madrid is notoriously the one club in the world that practically gets any player that they want, there has arguably been no better signing in recent years than Federico Valverde.
Not only is the Uruguayan a born leader who can play in nearly any position on the pitch. Valverde also takes every competition seriously. He has been one of the best fantasy football picks at the 2025 CWC and won’t be able to rest until further silverware is added to the club’s trophy cabinet.
Kvicha Kvaratskhelia (Paris Saint-Germain) – Football professionals tend to advise allowing a new signing, at last, one season to adapt before we can properly judge their performances. But if that’s the norm, how do you explain Kvicha Kvaratskhelia immediately jumping into this PSG team and improving it?
The Georgian was one of the best players in the Champions League last season. And, he has brought similar flair and excitement to the Club World Cup. On paper, there are hardly any teams capable of overpowering PSG at the moment and Kvaradona is one of the reasons for it.
Arda Guller (Real Madrid) – Real Madrid’s luxury problem has been, for a few seasons, the need to fit so many talented players into one squad. Xavi Alonso seems to have decided, however, on whom he can rely.
Arda Guller has played a starring role in Real’s CWC campaign. And while injuries may have helped him land on the spot, Alonso seems to rate the young Turkish midfielder genuinely. So do I. Guller is a good pick for your fantasy football draft.
