Alexandre Lacazette arrived at the start of the season at Arsenal with hopes he could boost the Gunners’ attacking strength. The forward was the top goalscorer in last season’s Ligue 1.
The player has not yet made as great an impression as fans may have expected, but Wenger says that it is only a matter of time. Wenger says Lacazette has all the attributes to be successful at his new club. He also says that the player has struck a friendship with his new colleagues.
The only missing piece at the moment is for Lacazette to adapt to the very physically demanding aspects of the Premier League and take the leap forward.
