Serie A is back this weekend with plenty of action at both sides of the table. Here is a look at some of the player’s that will defintely/are rumored to be out of their teams’ games.
Roma continue to chase leaders Juventus, with only six points separating the sides. Juventus travel to last place Pescara, while Roma face Atalanta at home.
Juventus will miss defender Bonucci through suspension. Mandzukic is doubtful to play because of a minor knee injury. Pjaca will almost certainly be out with a longer term injury. Opponents Pescara are unlikely to be able to use Gilardino, Pepe, Vitturini. Bovo is suspended against Juventus.
As for Roma, it’s almost certain they’ll be without Florenzi and Emerson. Spinozzi and De Rossi have minor injuries, but are training with the rest of the squad. Atalanta will be without Gomez who is suspended. Players doubtful to be on the pitch: Dramé and Spinazzola.
Napoli and Udinese close out this week’s Serie A action with a familair derby. Things look radically different for the two teams in terms of injuries and suspensions. While Napoli have some doubts in regards to only Tonelli and Giaccherini, Udinese have a more complicated task of assembling their starting 11. Santos, Fofana, Gnoukouri, Faraoni will likely be out through longer term injuries. Théréau sustained a small injury, but should be fit to start the game.
