Happy birthday, Fabio Cannavaro! from FootballCoin on Vimeo.
Cannavaro’s career stats look like almost the complete list of national and international achievements a player can achieve. The former player, and current manager, was Italy’s hero in 2006 when Italy managed to win the FIFA World Cup. A prime example of Italy’s defensive superiority, Cannavaro was only the sixth Italian to win the famous Ballon d’Or distinction. He also won the 2006 FIFA World Player of the Year the same year on the strength of his performances throughout the year, and especially in the World Cup.

Cannavaro has also won the UEFA Cup in the 1998-99 season with Parma. In his latter part of his career, the defender represented two of Europe’s biggest clubs, Real Madrid and Juventus, winning the league title twice with both clubs. Fabio Cannavaro currently manages Tianjin Quanjian in the Chinese Super League.
