Fantasy Football Serie A finally has the things its closest rivals, EPL and La Liga, have acquired – plenty of talent and the drama to go along with it.
And rivals make things exciting, but this doesn’t solve your problems with creating your ideal fantacalcio side for Round 9.

These Are the Players You Need for Fantasy Football Serie A (Fantacalcio) for Round 9
What a difference a week makes! Just days ago, Antonio Conte had suffered the painful humiliation of having his team concede six goals, decimated by some tasty attacking football from Peter Bosz’s PSV.
However, victory over Internazionale at the weekend calmed the waters. And, a victory against Lecce would mean that the Partenopei remain on top in the Serie A table.
Who do you need for your fantasy football team? Frankly, there’s never been a time when Scott McTominay and Frank Anguissa haven’t been good fantasy football picks. Sam Beukema is playing well. Giovanni di Lorenzo and Leonardo Spinazzola are often alright.
The rest of this Napoli side is a bit experimental, though. Give them some time to settle. Napoli should still win against Lecce.
Atalanta’s still finding its way into a post-Gasperini world. And AC Milan is struggling for consistency. Despite the many high-profile strikers, I’m not sure that this will turn into a goal fest. Still, Ademola Lookman and Rafael Leao are often good picks. And, Gianlucca Scamacca and Christopher Nkunku are alright replacements. Luka Modric remains great.
What about the all-important defensive positions? These are often the ones that clinch victory in FootballCoin.
Parma have a fight on their hands against Roma’s impressive strike force of Paolo Dybala, Mattias Soule and Lorenzo Pellegrini. However, Alessandro Circati and Enrico Del Prato have been impressive lately. Good picks!
How about a non-Igor Tudor Juventus taking on Udinese? Sounds like the perfect match for goalie Maduka Okoye, and for La Viola’s Jesper Karlstrom and Nicolo Zaniolo to cause some panic in the Turin side’s defence.
And what about everyone’s favourite former EPL winner, Jamie Vardy? He finally seems to have adjusted to life in Italy and could do well against an unimpressive Genoa side.
Finally, is Internazionale as good as everyone’s saying that they are, despite the defeat to Napoli last week? Yes, most likely. Yann Bisseck and Denzel Dumfries are defenders who always bring points in fantasy football. Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolo Barella offer midfield stability. And, for a bit of flair, youngster Ange Yoan-Bonny and team captain Lautaro Martinez might be exactly what you need.
Are These the Fantasy Football Serie A Players to Avoid for Round 9?
Watch out for changes in this Juventus side’s starting eleven. Caretaker Massimo Brambilla might be forced to drop players like Dusan Vlahovic or Kephren Thuram.
This Genoa side is struggling. And while Patrick Vieira’s team could still earn points from their game against Cremonese, players like Malinovskyi or Thorsby have been generally disappointing,
Finally, those excited about Kevin de Bruyne‘s arrival in Serie A should have also anticipated injuries. The Belgian defender is out for the foreseeable future.
