Fantasy Football Ligue 1 is as tricky as navigating the French roads without incurring a penalty for driving 5 km above the speed limit. But this isn’t about enriching the French authorities, but yourself.
Round 4 of the French Ligue 1 promises to be highly exciting, and in helping you deal with all of that, here are some players who should get into your fantasy football starting 11.

Are These the Players You Need for Fantasy Football in the Ligue 1 for Round 4?
Glory or disaster always looked like two very distinct possibilities for this Olympique Marseille side. Roberto de Zerbi, a manager who once thrived on conflict, risks getting his season undone by it.
Still, there’s reason to be optimistic about OM’s game against Lorient. Benjamin Pavard should make his debut and looks like a good pick. It’s rare that Emile Hojbjerg disappoints, and Timothy Weah looks good as well. It’s likely that Amine Gouiri and Ulisses Garcia will be on the bench for this one.
AS Monaco has started out the season well enough, although we might have seen this before. You won’t see Paul Pogba or Ansu Fati in this game against Auxerre. However, Philipp Kohn in goal and attackers Aleksandr Golovin and Folarin Balogun seem like sound fantasy football picks.
What about defenders? Lille has been looking surprisingly sturdy in that department. Iceland’s Arnar Haraldsson and Brazil’s Alexsandro Ribeiro might well be just what you’re looking for.
And let’s not ignore perpetual Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain. Facing Lens at home may turn out to be an unpredictable affair. Lens has been building a potentially impressive side.
However, it’s hard to imagine the high-flying attack of the Parisians failing to score a few goals here. Ousmane Dembele and Joao Neves both scored twice in the team’s last outing. Why not here as well?
Should You Avoid These Ligue 1 Players in Round 4?
Some of Ligue 1’s top stars are not fully fit, such as Paul Pogba and Ansu Fati. Meanwhile, other big names like Amine Gouiri might be left on the bench. And, hey, whatever happened to Adrian Rabiot? Of course, a player of his profile could only join AC Milan.
I’d also hang off of picking the likes of Amir Murillo, Nuno Mendes, Corentin Tolisso, or even Mason Greenwood until things have stabilised with these players’ performances.
